Review on Malaysian Goniothalamus essential oils and their comparative study using multivariate statistical analysis

چکیده

The genus Goniothalamus is belonging to the Annonaceae family, consists of ca. 2500 species and found in tropical Southeast Asia. essential oils were recognized possess considerable biological activities with varied chemical composition. This article aims overview medicinal uses, compositions, Malaysian considered as a plants, widely used traditional herbal medicines treatment various diseases. data collected from scientific electronic databases including SciFinder, Scopus, Elsevier, PubMed Google Scholar. Ten have been reported for their activities. It can be observed that major components α-cadinol, terpinen-4-ol, β-eudesmol, β-selinene, linalool, limonene, α-copaene, 1,8-cineole β-cubebene. In addition, selected bark, leaf root analysed using Principal Component Analysis (PCA) Hierarchical Cluster (HCA) able cluster four groups based on relationships patterns oils. multivariate analysis may identification characterization different are raw materials products.
